Nate Ruegger (he/him/his) is a writer-director of psychological monster movies.
Whether it’s vampires or aliens, horror or sci-fi, all his movies are about - at their core - the most fascinating monster of all… the human mind.
Born & raised in L.A. by an actress and a producer, Nate Ruegger has been making movies since he could hold a camera. His first memory was Ghostbusters. His family dinner nights were Alfred Hitchcock double features. At an early age, he had the good fortune to work for Steven Spielberg - and after that, there was no turning back.
Nate's passion for writing & directing took him to USC's School of Cinematic Arts and the festival circuit with Trust Me - racking up 2 MILLION VIEWS across Facebook, YouTube, & more - while garnering acclaim along the way:
